  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Allumonk sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

1. Make Sauce:

Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan. Stir together over medium-high heat until combined and starting to simmer.

Simmer until sauce reaches desired thickness, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes, gradually reducing heat as needed to maintain a simmer

2. Cool and Taste:

Turn off heat. When cool enough, taste and optionally add sweetener and cayenne as needed to adjust sweetness and spiciness.

The sauce can be promptly used as a glaze, dip, in other dishes or cooled and stored in a covered container in the refrigerator as prep for future meals or gatherings.
