So what is the keto diet?

The keto diet is a diet that will help you manage your blood sugar, maybe lose some weight, and ultimately improve your health. It’s not supposed to be something you do long-term, but you can do it short-term to rapidly remove potential problems in your health. That's what I did and how I can manage my type 2 diabetes.


So a keto diet is when you cut out carbohydrates from your diet, stick to a certain number of carbs a day (usually 20), and instead you eat more fats and protein. The fats then get broken down into energy so your body starts using fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. That's the main benefit of doing keto.
